You can retroactively terminate an employee from any company-sponsored plan (HSA, HRA, LSA, FSA, MTA, or Commuter) directly through the Lively web application. This ensures your records remain accurate even if a termination date has passed.
Step-by-Step Termination Guide
The following process applies to all Lively benefit plans:
Navigate to the "Employees" tab in your dashboard.
Search for the employee you wish to remove from the plan.
Click on the employee's name to view their profile.
Scroll down to the "Plan Overview" section.
Select the specific plan you need to terminate (e.g., HSA, FSA, HRA, etc.).
Click the "Actions" button, then select "Terminate Plan Employment".
Confirm the effective date of the termination to finalize the action.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Cannot find the employee? Ensure the employee's name is spelled correctly in the search bar.
Plan not visible? If the "Plan Overview" does not display the specific plan you are looking for, please verify that the employee is currently enrolled in that benefit before attempting to terminate it.
