To schedule an employer contribution for a specific employee, select the ‘Employees’ tab from the main left side menu, and click the name of the employee who you are seeking to apply the contribution to.
The employee will need to have completed their enrollment in order to be eligible to be funded.
On the employee’s page, select the green ‘Make Contribution’ option in the right-most box with the total amount of the employee and employer contributions to date. A pop-up module will appear where you will be able to schedule a one-time contribution to that specific employee. The contribution will be applied to the next payroll and initiated the next available pay date.
It is important to note that the employer contributions also count toward every individual employees annual HSA contribution limit. For 2020, the individual contribution limit is $3550 and the family contribution limit is $7100. We will let you know if there is a risk of exceeding the contribution limit.
