Lively allows employers to schedule one-time contributions for individual employees directly through the dashboard. Before you can schedule a contribution, the employee must have completed their enrollment. .
To initiate the contribution, navigate to the "Employees" tab in the main menu and click on the name of the employee you wish to fund. On their profile page, locate the box displaying the total contributions to date and select the green "Make Contribution" option. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the details for this one-time contribution. Once saved, the amount will be applied to the next payroll cycle and initiated on the next available pay date.
Please remember that employer contributions count toward the employee’s total annual HSA contribution limit. Lively’s system is designed to alert you if there is a risk of a contribution exceeding the IRS limit for the current tax year.
