Individuals who are age 55 or older and not enrolled in Medicare may make an additional annual HSA contribution of $1,0001 beyond the standard IRS maximum.
If you have a spouse, your catch-up contribution remains $1,000. However, if your spouse has a separate HSA2, they may also contribute their own $1,000 catch-up amount to that account.
