This guide explains how to set up an automated file feed with Lively for various account types, including HSA, HRA, LSA, FSA, MTA, Commuter, and COBRA.
Note: To qualify for an automated file feed configuration, your organization must have a minimum of 250 Benefit Eligible Lives (BELs).
Steps to configure
For HSA, HRA, LSA, FSA, MTA, and Commuter Accounts:
Ensure your organization meets the requirement of 250 Benefit Eligible Lives (BELs).
Reach out to your assigned Lively Customer Success Manager (CSM) to request a file feed configuration.
Provide your CSM with the contact details of your current HRIS or Payroll vendor. Lively will communicate with them directly to establish the connection.
You can view the file specifications on the Lively platform. Navigate to the "Upload Files" tab and look under "File Templates" to find the file guide with specific formatting details.
Work with your HRIS or Payroll provider to ensure the required information is correctly formatted according to Lively's specifications.
For COBRA Accounts:
Reach out to the Lively Cobra team to set up an EDI feed specifically for COBRA enrollments.
Provide the necessary contact information for your COBRA processing system. The Lively Cobra team will assist in setting up the feed.
Ensure all details align with the EDI feed requirements for COBRA enrollments as managed through the Lively-Cobra platform.
Troubleshooting
Setup Delays: If there are delays in setting up the file feed, make sure the HRIS or Payroll vendor has been properly notified and that they are responsive to Lively’s outreach. Follow up with your CSM to ensure the process is on track.
Formatting Errors: If you experience file upload errors, revisit the "File Templates" section under the "Upload Files" tab to verify that the file is formatted correctly.
