First, confirm your card is activated. Log in to your account and check the Debit Cards section to view the status of your card and any dependent cards. If you can’t access your account and the expense is urgent, pay out-of-pocket. Be sure to keep your receipts, and you can reimburse yourself.
If your card is activated, make sure the purchase is a qualified medical expense. In some cases, Lively may block non-qualified purchases to help prevent penalties and additional taxes.
If you have funds invested through Charles Schwab or Devenir, confirm there is enough money in your Lively HSA cash balance to cover the transaction (and any applicable fees).
