Your Lively debit card is compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. There are two ways to add your card to your mobile wallet, directly through the Lively app or by manually entering your card details into your device.
Push Provisioning (Through the Lively App)
This method is the fastest way to add your card, as Lively pushes your encrypted card data directly to your mobile wallet without requiring you to type the card number.
How to add: Open the Lively app, navigate to the "Card" tab, and tap "Add to Apple/Google Wallet".
Adding pending cards (Employees only): If you have an employer-sponsored account, you can use this method to add a "pending" (unactivated) card to your wallet, allowing you to start spending before the physical card arrives in the mail.
Probationary limits for pending cards: If you add an unactivated card, a temporary probationary spending limit of $500 per day per purchase will apply to help mitigate risk. This limit resets every 24 hours. The limit is automatically removed once you activate your physical card or after 15 days.
Manual Entry (Through your Device's Wallet App)
This method requires you to manually type your full card number, CVV, and expiration date directly into your phone's wallet app.
How to add: Open your phone's wallet app and follow the instructions provided by your device’s operating system to enter your details.
Security verification: For security purposes, you may be required to enter a one-time passcode or call Lively to verify your identity and complete the setup process.
Once added, you can use your mobile wallet for in-store payments wherever mobile payments are accepted. Please note: purchases must still qualify as eligible medical expenses for your applicable plan.
