What is Claim Sync, and how does it work?
Claim Sync is a feature offered by Lively that securely imports claims from your health insurance plan(s) (medical, vision, and/or dental) to the Lively platform, and displays it on the Claim Sync dashboard for you to take action.
Actions you can take on imported claims include:

Reimbursing claims with your HSA funds

- Including auto-substantiating FSA or HRA claims using your imported insurance claims

- Archiving claims to filter for the most relevant claims for reimbursement
- Matching an imported claim to a payment on your Lively debit card
How do I get started with Claim Sync?
1. From your dashboard, open the top-left menu, and click on “Claim Sync” in the navigation bar.
2. Once you’ve opened the Claim Sync dashboard, you will see an Overview of how Claim Sync works.
3. Proceed with the step-by-step instructions on the screen to connect your insurance plan(s).
4. Once the connection has been completed, your claims will be imported from your insurance carrier into the Claim Sync dashboard. Depending on the carrier, it may take up to 10 minutes for your claims to be listed.
5. After your claims are available, you can choose to reimburse the claim from one of your Lively benefits, or you can link the imported claim to activity from your Lively debit card.
Will any changes or actions I take through Claim Sync be reflected on my health insurance plan(s)?
No, any actions you take through Claim Sync will only be reflected on the Lively platform, and will not affect your health insurance plan(s).
I’m unable to find my health insurance plan(s) to connect on Claim Sync.
We work with a third-party provider, TPA Stream, to offer Claim Sync. Insurance plans that are compatible with Claim Sync are determined by TPA Stream, and not Lively.
Why don’t I see all of my health insurance claims through the Claim Sync dashboard?
A claim must be processed with your health insurance plan in order for it to show up in the Claim Sync dashboard.
Once you’ve authorized Claim Sync, it can take a few minutes for it to finish importing claims. If you’re still not seeing the claim you’re looking for, please contact your insurance plan carrier or manually reimburse your claim.
Why don’t I see Claim Sync as an option in my Lively account?
Your employer must opt in to Claim Sync in order for it to show up as a feature on your Lively account.
Is this feature available for my Lively Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)?
Claim Sync will be available for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) August 2025.
Is this feature available on the Lively mobile app?
Claim Sync will be available on the Lively mobile app beginning August 2025.
